This chair was a favorite moment of ours in the Chic Color Block Girls Bedroom design. We love, love, love to give furniture and possessions a new life. When we knew we needed a desk chair that could take the wear and tear of an 8 year old girl, but had to be beautiful, off we went to our friends at Remix Market in Stamford and found this little beauty of a chair for $10. We painted it black to match the black and white elements in the room, and recovered the chair pad with a black and white stretch girls dress for $3.

Chairs can be so expensive, and in this world of throw-away furniture for sale, we were thrilled to provide a very economical and sturdy option and to give this chair a new life.
