This is one of three kids bedrooms we finished in this project! This bedroom redo is for an 8 year old girl. Our goal with this room was to give a bedroom that would last design-wise through her tweens and into her teens.

On our prep day we painted the walls and colored blocked the whole space with a dusty rose color. We wanted to stay on the gray side of this pink to be a little more sophisticated while still fun. next we took an existing toy bin and cube bookshelf and lined it with black & white polka dot wallpaper. Peel n’ stick, of course! A faux roman shade was custom made to give more pattern, tie in the black & white accents, and to hide the pull down shades during the day time.

A desk was chosen for a place for homework, but we added in an oval gold mirror and storage bins to double as a vanity. The chair was a thrift find from our friends at Remix Market – but more on that in a future Furniture Flip post.
A new washable rug, art work (XO hand made) bedding, night tables, and table lamps with charging outlets tied this space together!

That’s a wrap. See more on our Desk Chair Furniture Flip, and the next two kids rooms are coming soon!
