In the same home as our recent foyer upgrade post, we also helped to make some changes in the living room to lighten up the furniture and add lots of personal touches for this beautiful family.
Small changes can make such a huge impact. The original chairs were very nice, but they felt like they blocked the flow into the living room. We replaced the chairs with natural wood option, and went with a lower profile to open up the room. Whitney flipped an old rescued piano bench to become extra seating, and we framed and hung some family photos to personalize the space. The rug was in great shape, and we added some textiles including framed textiles above the sofa and new pillows. More personalized framed art around the room and at the bottom of the stairs.
